So the secret is out...
Young Generation are doing Hairspray!
Hairspray is a big, bold and beautiful musical comedy where Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, is on a mission to follow her dreams and dance her way onto national TV. Tracy’s audition makes her a local star and she soon uses her new-found fame to fight for equality, bagging a hunky hearthrob along the way!
Expect fabulous chorus numbers, incredible hair and some of the catchiest songs you’ll ever hear all whilst addressing and encouraging important issues such as inequality and racism in a 60’s America.
So now you know what show we’re doing...
“But who will be the amazing, inspirational and incredibly good looking production team for next year?” I hear you shout from the top of your lungs...

Musical Director – TBC (we tried to get Sue Morant involved but she’s tone deaf and can barely play a recorder let alone a piano)
Head of Costume – Vron Spear
Head of Hair and Make-Up – Naomi Morant
Stage Manager – Deborah Rogers
Set Construction – Jon Spear
Rehearsal and audition information will be released as soon as we have it.
