WE WON!

Young Generation has been an award winning youth drama group for over 30 years and 2017 has seen three more awards added to our trophy cabinet!

The Cornwall Drama Association came to watch Hairspray in the summer and nominated us for a number of awards. We are delighted to announce that, on October 28th 2017, we won the following:

• The John Walton Award for Best Youth Performance

• Third Place in Best Musical

• Special Award for Excellent Choreography

These awards are a testament to our cast and crew who worked their socks off this year. Hairspray was a sell out show every single night and we are so unbelievably proud of what we produced. The cast, all aged between 10 - 20 years, worked tirelessly week after week so we are thrilled that their hard work has been recognised with these fantastic awards.

Thank you to everyone who supported us this year by buying tickets to see Hairspray, we loved every minute of it and can't wait to come back in 2018 with something equally amazing!
